Context: This is Justine exuding sheer joy after we got upgraded to a suite on a trip to Tahoe. Besides being generous and dependable, I love this picture because it reminds me of the sense of humor only sisters can share and how lucky I am to count her as family.

Context: This picture was taken off the coast of Hawaii.  It reminds me that Nicole is the life of the party - regardless of the atmosphere, she makes things more fun.  She is also the friend who always "gets me" without fail and is patient with my limited sun tolerance in tropical locations. She's really more like family.

Context: Half of my friendship with Leah has been adventure, the other half has been just taking time to sit and chat.  This photo reminds me that Leah is both a great listener - sensitive and caring - and always ready for a fun adventure.  I'm so grateful that even though she moved to Columbia (the country) I can still count on our friendship.

Context: I met Jenny through Nicole when I moved to San Francisco in 2007. Before she moved to London, we made some of the most fun single girl memories together. I love this picture because her heart of gold and easygoing nature shine through. So glad to have her back in San Francisco!

Location: A's vs. Giants game at Oakland Coliseum

Context:  While getting to know Leighann shortly after Andrew and I started dating, I pretty quickly knew two things:

1) Leighann is the funniest and most loyal girl I've ever met.  Her combination of a vivacious and fun-loving nature combined with family values is unprecedented.

2) Andrew is lucky to have such an awesome sister and I can't wait to be sisters in law!

Summary: Brother from the same mother

Location: Aracely's on Treasure Island, CA 

Context: This is Adam being dapper AF at our engagement party, which is no small feat considering we went out for a few rounds the night before. There's never been a doubt in my mind that Adam has my back, and I'm thankful that I get to call him my brother. (No we're not twins.)

Summary: Best friend since 2nd grade

Location: On the SF pier after touring Alcatraz 

Context: This is T Prime flexing on some punks who were talkin' trash. They apologized and started crying after taking one look at that scowl. Underneath that hardened exterior is a true friend, and someone I know will always be genuine and hilarious.   

Summary: Friends since college and fellow raider room dweller

Location: Some ATO fraternity event

Context: Yes, that is a tan corduroy vest he was wearing, and that says it all about Rac. One of his biggest priorities is having a good time, and making sure everyone around him is enjoying themselves too. If you see this guy at the wedding, it's pretty much a guarantee he's doing something fun.  

Summary: Brother from another mother

Location: A place only people cooler than you or me are allowed

Context: Apparently like most of my friends, K Fresh also has a keen fashion sense, on display here with his multi-colored plaid blazer. Like that blazer, Kolin is bold & adventurous, and yet smooth, with a strong sense of humor. I can only hope he he still has that blazer so he can bring it to the wedding.
